Leybourne Grange Riding Centre for the Disabled

LGRCD is a wonderful charity based in Kent which encourages disabled riders of all abilities to get active with the help of their specialist horses and ponies. As a registered charity that receives no government funding, LGRCD relies on the help of volunteers, fund raisers, and support from the community to keep their doors open.

That’s why Orchard 2 Office donate all uneaten fruit to the horses at LGRCD. When collecting our reusable delivery boxes from offices around the country we retrieve any uneaten fruit to feed the hardworking team at Laybourne Grange, cutting down on food waste and giving the horses a well-deserved treat.

Jack and Morgan (above), as well as the rest of the team are specially chosen for their kind nature and ability to adjust to the needs of the rider. With varying sizes of horses and ponies, LGRCD are able to cater to all abilities, but they are all “basically bombproof” to give the riders the confidence they need.

The horses are all well cared for thanks to the fantastic team at LGRC, and Orchard2Office are proud to help out in any way we can.
